How It All Started

Working in Corporate Ventures at the Meltwater Group CEO Joe Levy met Founder Tomer Sofinzon and had a series of intense discussions over coffee concluding that the Competitive Intelligence function was missing a strong solution available to businesses of all sizes. They agreed to merged their diverse backgrounds in technology sales, R&D management, and venture capital to figure out how to solve the problem.

After many more coffees they partnered with CTO Kfir Sasson, an experienced technologist in the Competitive Intelligence world, to create a disruptive technology solution that could turn data into actionable intelligence.

After a year of R&D and early European market testing, the clearCi application was born in 2011. Former Meltwater colleague Michael Clews joined as VP of Sales, opening North American operations in Florida.

Since then the Company has grown by leaps and bounds, each with a client success story behind it.
