How does clearCi work?
clearCi uses a sophisticated set of web crawlers, search engines and other technologies to easily add any almost webpage on the internet and keep abreast of changes therein. Users can create searches on a single site, or group of sites, and then filter and analyze that information. clearCi can also generate reports on any frequency to keep multiple users up to speed with the changing data, as well as export to other common software programs for further analysis.

Is clearCi customizable to my needs?

Do I have to pay for training once I become a client?
No. Your Ci Specialist will help you get up to speed on the software both during your trial and after you decide to join our client roster. You’ll have access anytime by direct phone or email to that same Ci Specialist for the duration of your subscription. We pride ourselves on our client support and look forward to serving you!
How can I get started?

How many sites does clearCi cover?

Is CI software a new service?
Yes and no. Businesses have been using Competitive Intelligence for years, even if they never called it by its formal name. With the evolution of the internet information has become more readily available but at the same time overwhelming. clearCi’s Competitive Intelligence software available via SaaS helps our clients search and filter for important information.
How is my data kept secure?
clearCi hosts and maintains all of its applications and data on AWS (Amazon Web Services) servers and infrastructure. AWS has achieved ISO 27001 certification and has successfully completed multiple SAS70 Type II audits. Each of the services within the AWS cloud is architected to be secure and contains a number of capabilities that restrict unauthorized access or usage, in addition to clearCi’s own internal controls regarding data protection and confidentiality. All data is only available for access via authorized technical personnel. We maintain strict confidentiality with regards to all of our clients’ data and specific usage behavior/ history. What are the System Requirements?
clearCi currently works on any computer or mobile device with an internet browser. For certain advanced functionality, we recommend using Internet Explorer 7 or newer on Microsoft Windows with the .Net framework 3.5 or newer installed. What audit trail/ trace does the tracking leave on the sites visited?
Monitoring of sites leaves the same trail/ trace that visiting a website from a personal browser would do, only that the personal browser is our server. The end IP and user-agent which crawls the content after initial setup points back to clearCi’s server instances at AWS and will never have a direct connection to our individual clients. If our client clicks on items contain in email reports or results to view the original content at its source, there will potentially be an audit trail/ trace back to the client’s computer.
